Safety and Health

Providing a safe and healthy work environment

Workplace health and safety is paramount to our business operations. To ensure the wellbeing of our employees, we have an established and proven occupational health and safety management system in place. We regularly review and analyse work procedures and operations to maintain a safe workplace environment for our people. We also provide comprehensive staff training programmes to instil the right mindsets and cultivate safety-focused habits, enabling our employees to adhere to safety standards. In addition, we uphold occupational health and safety practices through safety campaigns, alerts, newsletters, discussion sessions as well as mandatory and specialised programmes.

We are the first private property management company recognised and accredited by the Labour Department to run the following Safety Training Courses and issue ‘Green Cards’.
Since 2008:
  • Over 7,600 staff members have completed the Mandatory Basic Safety Training Course (Construction Work).
  • Over 650 staff members have completed the Safety Training Course for Competent Persons of Confined Spaces Operation.
Our commitment to providing a healthy and safe environment extends to all stakeholders, including customers, tenants and visitors. We take proactive measures to ensure their wellbeing, including:
  • Installation of automated external defibrillators (“AEDs”) at our managed prime properties to cope with emergency situations.
  • Arrangement of first-aid training to colleagues, as well as Adult CPR and AED trainings and AED drills at properties where AED are installed to ensure preparedness in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation.

We have received Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification since 2011.

We have received multiple safety awards organised by the Occupational Safety and Health Council, including Best Property Safety Management Award, Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Award, among others.

People Development

Youth-up Programme

The Youth-up Programme is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about a career in property management. As a Customer Experience Ambassador, young leaders will have an opportunity to gain professional training and hands-on experience in property management, building not just a career, but a bright future within Sino Group.

Driving quality service through regular training

Staff training is fundamental in equipping our employees with the right skills. We are committed to investing in developing our people, and many of our programmes are recognised by the Government’s Qualifications Framework and the Labour Department. We were one of the first companies in the industry to establish eleven unique training academies.
